Forums - Sony - Which GDC scenario is most likely for Sony at GDC?

PSP announcement should be saved for E3.

when is gdc anyways? (dont feel like searching >.>)

but id say the psp-4000 is possible or maybe they will hint at it but not show, like a tease.

i dont expect any new games shown except the ico game, but i even have my doubts on that.

The Origo game is going to be revealed or teased or something at GDC. There was an encryption that somebody cracked that said it would be revealed at GDC. I'm interested to find out what it is because of the odd advertisement.

oh yeah forgot about that lizard game

lol someone already answered that. sorry.

anyway since the ico fella is holding the keynote (isn't he?) he's prolly gonna announce his next game. hopefully anyway,

As far as PSP goes;

- Make sure all developers know about the PSP-4000 (this should already be done), but do not announce it publicly.
- Start the fully digital PSP downlaod service right now so that they can get infastructure problems ironed out before launching the digital only PSP-4000.
- Drop the price of the basic unit to $149, and give the $199 pack a 8GB MS.

quick thought - I would hold the public announcment back until TGS for a day and date worldwide launch. This would have the unit coming out the end of September. Then I would slam the airwaves with an awsmoe advertising campain through October, November, and December,

As for PS3;

-!!!!!!!!!NEW SKU MODEL/PRICING!!!!!!!
I have given the outline for this before, but I will do it again here in a basic format;
- (all models are the samsame as todays 80GB package, unless noted)
-$299 80GB
-$399 160GB + HDMI
-$499 250GB + HDMI + Headset + 1st Party Game

- As with the PSP, I woud love to here that Sony has signed deals with many publishers allowing full DVD 3rd party titles to come out on PSN day and date with retail. (I would love for Capcom to release Street Fighter 4 on PSN, I am waiting until that happens to grab a copy)

- Hopefully we will here about a few of the games that are rumored to come out this year including, MAG, R&CF2, and Team ICO Projects.

I think this would be perfect for this show. Keep it all about the games, and show the developers that they are doing their best to get the content out to people. As far as the day and date releases of full retail games, I hope the same for MS. If one of them announces that at this show, I will be a follow them exclusivly for 3rd Party offerings.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. there won't be any price drops, that's for sure. especially for psp.

psp is giving sony a small profit right now on hardware. if they drop the price, they'll sell it for a loss. that's more red ink to the already sinking ps3 division.

what happened to wardevil guys?

is it a vapor ware?
