You do realize i was being sarcastic and i didnt understand the word you siad, right? Nintendo is not a brand BUT they are/were selling/making brands like GameBoy and DS. Sony is not a brand but they are making brands like PlayStation and Sony Ericson. That's how i realized that.

Sony is no different to Nintendo in that sense. Sony is a company and a brand, as is Nintendo.

"Playstation" is a brand but not a company, just like "Wii".
