hey guys, well a couple of days ago i was bit by a spider. and seeing as how i was lazy i did not go to the doctor. the worse part about it at the time is that its on my knee wwhich is killing. me now i am kinda regretting it. now while looking at my wound i notice there is a whole(im talking abut a actual whole). what should i do.

Uhhh, did you get a look at this spider?  Where abouts do you live in US ?  Usually you wouldn't have much to worry about, but if it was a Brown Recluse, things could get nasty.  If its been a couple days and its only getting worse, go see a doctor.  It may be nothing, but its better to be safe.

Brown Recluse bites can lead to serious infections and massive tissue damage.  Good luck

i live in nrtheast nc the spiders that are most common here are the

black widow 

and the brown recluse

and no i did not see it i just saw the bite a couple hours later and i assumed it is a spider.

How bad is the bite?  Is it oozing yellow pus ?   Is the tissue around the site going a darker colour ?  Or is it just red and enflamed?

Do you know what kind of spider got you or what it looked like?

What color is the skin around the actual bite, and is there white puss?

Whatever you answer, if it's getting worse and is causing you pain, you should go to the doctor as soon as you can. I'm not trying to scare you, but depending on what took a chomp of you, some bites can leave significant scars as the skin actually decays from necrosis. These bites are fairly rare though.

In my section of the country, these bites are more common as recluses are around in greater numbers.

It's probably not a black widow if it's been a few days. It's neurotoxic. You usually feel very weak and sick soon after you've been chomped on by a black widow. Sweating, vomiting, head aches, etc.
