I'm thinking bigger debut than CoD, but slightly worse legs.

lol...what? That's just wishful thinking.

Why? CoD had a poor debut but long legs, if anything it's a pessimistic statement to make.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I assumed you were talking about all COD versions combined.

I think its gonna be a Madworld clone.
Major internet hype. Decent reviews. Terrible/Mediocre sales

What is with people???! Terrible sales? 9th best selling game in NA is terrible? You know damn well how wii games sell, and I don't know why your pretending like you dont. 57k first week for a wii game can easily end up platinum. Plus we haven't even seen how its selling in others. Will it be considered a terrible seller when it crosses the million mark???

Please stop posting non sense.

BTW I agree with the conduit selling about 35k a week 10 weeks into its release. It will have a pretty impressive opening of about 175,000 WW, first week.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Okay, people need to understand, if you expect any Wii game to have legs like World at War, your setting yourself up for disappointment. I doubt Madworld will have insane legs. The Conduit? Maybe. It is a FPS, and if it impresses a lot of people early on, it can make that push that World at War made.

Of course it will, if it turns out to be a good game then people will buy it because people to want a big exclusive shooter with decent online on the wii.

I can see, if its a great game...that 10 weeks later its still selling good...word of mouth and reviews wil help it.
