Forums - Microsoft - I sold my 360...

My buddy offered to buy it off me today and i took the deal.It made sense for me.Since my roommate already has a 360 and wii,so I still technically have one.The main reason I sold it was I didn't have xbl anymore, and I already have a ps3 so I can already play Multi-platforms.Halo 3 to me isn't what Halo 2 was. There was something missing from the online. And I just prefer PS3 exclusives at this point.

I got $450 for the system, games, and the Rock Band set.I felt like I made a good deal.I just feel that maybe I should have held onto it just for kicks and Mass Effect 2.Did I make the right choice?

EDIT: I just realized that with this money.I could buy a wii....

The loss of Mass Effect 2 makes it a bad deal.

Unless you have a PC.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

If you enjoy the PS3 exclusives ( I think so).

I would argue the PS3 had a better 08' Lineup
And appears to have a better 09' Lineup (Even without GoWIII/GT5).
And depending on where GoWIII and GT5 fall, will definitely have a better lineup IMO (So a better lineup in 08', 09' and 10').

The difference in multi-platform games is negligible.   Mass Effect 2 will probably be good but you can play that on your friends 360 or if you own a PC.

I do.But I doubt it will be able to run it :(

Well, if you weren't playing your Xbox 360 that much anymore and you were hurting for money then I can see selling it. However, if a Xbox 360 exclusive comes out that you really want then you may be hurting. I was thinking about trading mine in to get the money to buy a PS3 but I opted to just buy one without doing so. I am looking forward to the new Halo 3 ODST game when it comes out so I am glad that I have kept mine, for now.

If you have access to a 360 to play when you want, it isn't much of a loss now. If you don't, then you may be hurting down the road. Did you download any games for it and pay for those? If so, then that is a loss.

Well,as long as i still continue to live where I live,I'll be able to play any exclusive I'll want. But,if I move out when our lease is up,I'm pretty much done for that.

And?
