Apple did enter the console market. It's not surprising nobody remembers the Pippin though, especially since it only sold 42,000 units. Oh yeah, poor Kutaragi, now he isn't even a janitor.

PS3 without blu ray is the worst prediction ever. I mean come on.
The "revolution won't sell" prediction at least had a chance considering how bad the gamecube did, but PS3 without blu ray?

Stupidest by far was the suggestion of a non-Blu PS3. Simply incredible.
Not an analyst prediction, but i remember back on joystiq around when GTAIV and Mario Kart Wii were launching, somebody bet that the PS3 version of GTAIV alone would outsell Mario Kart Wii. That was a good one

I thought the non blue PS3 was some rumour by an idiotic blogger.... but if that was started by an analyst then it shows how little of the industry they actually know....it's as if all they have is a few sales numbers and they don't bother doing any additional research.
