Is it possible Microsoft has secured a Japanese release for the 360 version? Because that's the only way I can see their claim being realised.

(Maybe they were just talking about US sales, but outselling the PS3 version there is a given, so I guess not).

Most JRPG fans in the west own a 360. So its not unrealistic to say FFXIII will sale better on the 360. Its a little crazy, but not unrealistic. It should be close though with 65% of the PS3 sals coming from Japan alone.

If they are talking worldwide they fail big time. Not only PS3 will have the better version but also will be an exclusive on Japan.

Wouldnt be surprised if in NA and Europe the 360 version outsells the PS3 version.  I also expect another 360 Elite Special edition for FF.  Since the Elite will probably be over 200GB by then they could have FF pre-installed on the HDD.

 

Smaller*. Since the PS3 already sells closely to the 360, and the 360 is half the price. You honestly don't think it'll pass the 360 in sales once it drops in price?(2-5 more days :D)

omg...maybe when ffxiii comes out the box only costs 50 dollars and with ffxiii bundle 25 dollars...thats how microsoft sell...and at the time ffxiii comes out i think the ps3 had already price cuts and that will push the ps3 in NA much!
