Your sentiment towards this is pretty much the same as those who say they don't want certain games because they look too childish or cutesy, but on the other end of the spectrum. Are you just uncomfortable with realistic violence?

You're going to grow out of this "dubs are crap lol" thing too. There are a lot of instances where the Japanese version is inferior to the English one, and the DVDs of the show are uncut in both languages.

I would say its geared more toward lovers of extreme and graphic violence. That doesn't make it geared to adults.

How about cutting a baby from the stomach of a pregnant woman? Or running toddlers over with a lawnmower? Or better yet, how about stalking, kidnapping, raping and disecting pre-teen girls? All horrible, right? But does playing it in a video game make it ok because its not real?
I know I'm likely to get sawn asunder (look it up) for the above, but make note: all I did was ask questions. I made no judgment beyond recognizing the real world horror of the things I mentioned. Please do me the same courtesy.
