Both of the "problems" you listed aren't usually brought up by Wii owners, so I don't really see the point of this thread.

I am very proactive on problem 1. I recommend people to get Sonic games all the time.

EDIT: Wait a second, I don't really complain about the sales of Sonic games. I don't have a problem other than being pansy which I am not.

Why recommend people to waste their hard earned money on Sonic games? At this point, Sonic is only for hardcore fans of the series. You can't honestly expect normal people to enjoy them much. For the price of the latest Sonic game, a gamer could just pick up Okami and Zack & Wiki for the same price easily.

The average gamer wouldn't like those games.

Why not? The Wii has 50 million people out there looking for something to play. I look at games like Zelda and Fire Emblem, and think to myself, "The Wii does have a hardcore fan base just any other console would". Wii fans just aren't buying those games.

Erm... Fire Emblem isn't exactly the best example for saying the Wii has a huge hardcore fanbase... I mean how much has it sold?... 410k in America and Japan, and using the Nintendo Channel I would estimate it's PAL sales at around 100k.

so half a million.... Madworld will reach that easily.

As for Zelda.... calling it hardcore doesn't stop it having mass appeal, there is a difference. Halo has mass appeal, GTA has mass appeal, Mario has mass appeal and so does Zelda.
Madworld does not.... if someone who doesn't use the internet goes into a store and sees a black, white and red game sitting next to a more realistic looking FPS, they will generally go for the realism.... or for simplistic styles like Mario. Madworld is neither.
