So NPD provides meltdown material this month after all. The bitter fanboy tears at kotaku and Joystiq are great.
Joystiq reads VGChartz confirmed, cause they totally stole ameratsu's idea.

Wii Music hasn't. When it does that will be a day of mouring for all true gamers more than when any other Wii title has. Because it will mean that a steaming pile of guano stamped with Nintendo's name can sell more than anything else pushing most developers to aim for creating steaming piles of guano.
Heavens to Murgatoids.

Okay, funny man. First off, that statement is the reason why I said you were generalizing. It's the reason why I replied to your post in the first place There is a YMCA a block away from me. However, those centers aren't exactly free, which was one of the selling points for you jogging in the park. I live offcampus. I'm not about to drive for a half hour every time I want a work out (unless it's to use the pool). The "motivation" can also come from trying to beat your friends'/relatives' high scores. Just seeing my best friend's records above mine make me want to keep trying. I don't need to meet people in a gym, I have a boyfriend, and possess a healthy body. There's nothing wrong with becoming more active and supplementing my workout regime at home. Glad to know that last line was a joke, Mr. Gamer.

Why not just run around the neighborhood? I just take a 2 lap/4x4 block jog everyday. The uneven terrain is good workout for your core and legs. Much better than a step system, and running really is the best exercise you can get besides swimming. So you don't need a park, or a Y, just some ground.
Rocky beat the russian by beating pig carcasses running up hills and lifting logs, even though the russian had multi-million dollar sports equipment. It's all about the attitude you put into it. You can't really say that wii fit actually helps the average joe lose weight or that its a great outlet because fitness is a combination of exercise/diet and sadly enough, the wii fit is an enabler in that you really don't have to leave the house and get any of that other residual exercise that that would entail and it doesn't count your calories.
However, if you're already pretty fit, then the wii fit yoga trainer is pretty sweet even though it doesn't compare with an actual class. Its a lot cheaper and fun as well.
