Most of the content is in the title.  What do you guys think of it?  Thinking of picking this one up.  I'm interested in how the online leaderboards work, too.

ya, i don't really like shooters(fps, third person, on-rails, classic arcade style, it doesn't really matter, i don't seem to like any of them), so i can't be much of a help :b

Never played a Gradius game till Rebirth. I played the Rebirth Japanese one a while back and it bored me. Too slow and not a fan of old school games period.

I was considering it. I have Gradius on VC from NES and really enjoyed it, I was tossing around the idea of buying this game.

I wonder if it has "the code"?

I'm a big fan of old style SHMUPS, but I didn't get the game, either. From what I've read, Rebirth is basically a remix of levels from previous Gradius games.
