If you like hating on Home so much guys, then plz go on, I'll just watch and be amused by how emotional some ppl get over free software they aren't forced to use. |
It's not that. Twesterm is saying that from a financial and developmental standpoint for creating Home, it seems to be a complete waste. I don't own a PS3 so I wouldn't know, but after reading articles and hear how people complain that Sony has wasted resources to create something bland. Sony did have great ideas for the concept, it's just that a lot of it was put into place and doesn't fascinate us gamers.
I DO think it's a total waste to go to the Arcade in Home and to see that all the machines are in use. It DOES NOT have to be that way. On my online game of FFXI, we can go to the grand capital city called Jeuno and access the Auction Houses (AH) by NPCs. More than one player can highlight and initiate the AH window from the NPC. If Sony could do something like that in Home, it would be more fair, otherwise people would be wasting time just waiting for a slot in the Arcade to play against someone. And for Sony to go so far as to make everything HIGHLY detailed and textured etc. in areas that cause massive loading bouts, it's ridiculous. If it's too realistic people are going to be very turned off, and that's exactly what's happening in home.
