For the conduit I expect 200k WW first week.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

If Conduit does the same opening week as Madworld all Third Parties should cancel their projects.  Seriously though, I think third parties are gonna see what happens when someone puts as much effort into a Wii title as much as they do a HD title.  and I think high voltage and Sega will be rewarded by the sales they will recieve.  I think if they can get the online right, then the game can really start to take off.

My max prediction for the Conduit for opening week is about 70k. I really don't know why people are saying it's going to sell in the 200k range, that seems way too optimistic to me.

I hope people realize that if The Conduit flops (it won't), 3rd parties cannot just cancel everything.

There would still be 50 million console users being unattended to.

I agree completely.  If Conduit doesn't sell then I doubt 3rd parties are going to bring "hardcore" games to the Wii.  All we will get will be party games and rail shooters.

Both games will sell well, but The Conduit is definitely more mainstream. I see The Conduit topping two million rather comfortably. MadWorld will probably end up somewhere around 1.25 million, give or take.

Conduit probably won't be as praised as madworld but it should do better, especially since it is an FPS. Madworld is a beat em up which is pretty much a niche genre now. Not to mention the odd artstyle. Conduit is your traditional FPS which has become a very popular genre.

Madworld 1 million Conduit 2.5 million

Conduit will launch with 75k in US and 50k is Others, is my guess.
