Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 have cut price?

I was at Walmart last week in Canada and I was surprised to see flashy "Rollback" signs in front of the Xbox 360 Pro and Elite Holiday bundles.  You know the ones with Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indy.  The new prices were:

   Pro =  $248 CDN  = $201.48 USD          was $299 CAD

   Elite = $368 CDN = $289.88 USD          was $399 CAD

Well I know that Xbox360 has been selling very well lately but I am a little shocked at the large price rollback.  There are a few possibilities for this senario.

1) Resident Evil 5 red elite bundle is out and they are trying to clear out the old systems,

2) They are changing the sku's so the are trying to clear out the old systems,

3) They overestimated demand and ordered too many and are trying to get rid of the overstock

4) All of the above.

Walmart is HUGE and I think that when they "Rollback" prices "The prices are falling!" that would be the same as an official Microsoft price cut?

There wont be a price cut untill the PS3 has one

Fire sale to clear out old stock. Out with the old in with the new. Small price discounts are offered by a lot of retailers.

Don't you think that a small discount is different than an official walmart "Rollback".  That is a full time sale price...

It could be adjustments due to foreign exchange rates. The US dollar has fallen dramatically against all currencies over the last 18 months.
