Does "Others" only count the EU, or is it everywhere that's not the U.S. and Japan?

360 will win. Watch when American numbers come in, it'll lop side it in 360s favor.

why would you combine the PS360 version to go against the poor GC? Why not add the PS2 in....it's just not fair.

Exactly as expected. Even in Europe, Japan for the PS3 and NA for Xbox360. And 2% is definately error-margin.

I see the Xbox360 selling more copies. As I wrote in the comments: RE4 on all platforms (Wii, GCN, PS2) sold significantly more units in NA than in Others and Japan combined.

But RE5 helped the Xbox360 more than it helped the PS3 in Others. I mean, the hardware push was pretty big for the xbox360.

Anyway, nice to see that both HD consoles can move software.

nice, i kinda expect a reversal in NA so 360 52ish% and ps3 48% so it should all even out nearly. maybe a little more lopsided around 360 58% ps3 42% but the ps3 might be able to edge out WW %

The sales and legs of this game in the United States of America/NA region shoukld help RE5 on X360 edge out PS3 version of RE5.

RE5 on X360 sales In America to be roughly double those of RE5 on PS3.

My Walmart is selling about 5 360 copies per PS3 copy so that's pretty significant, but the 360 rules in my area so it just may be a local phenomena

According to AJ, RE5 has narrowly won the first week sales battle on PS3 narrowly beating X360 version of RE5. Remember people HD games in Japan have no legs. Second week HD game sales drops right off and then practically no sales of the game after week two onwards in Japan. This golden rule does not apply to DS, PSP and Wii game sales in Japan.

By end of the month X360 RE5 sales due to legs in Europe and mainly NA where X360's install base is more than 8 million than PS3 should see RE5 on XBox 360 win the game sales ltd war in regards to RE5 ltd game sales.

I also expect RE5 should be coming to PC within a year.
