But "owning a video game system is like having a DVD player. There are no restrictions to what you can watch on it," Deaves says.

Thank you!  Geez, people, it's just the player--you still need to go to a store and BUY the f**king software!  (Excuse my profanity)

So what you're trying to say is: Dont hate the player, hate the game.

But seriously, that was a refreshingly well-made article.

And the Wii isn't the system kids love. Line up a group of 10 to 12 year old boys here in the US and ask them what their favorite games are and they'll say Halo or Gears or GTA or maybe a few will say Killzone 2. But, its their parents and maybe a few girls and college age women that like to play Wii Fit that love the Wii.

I know only one 10 year old boy (family member).  He has a Wii and a DS.  His younger brother has a DS as well.  Neither are interested in a 360/PS3.  My anecdote > your anecdote.

Well, maybe some documentary footage will demonstrate that Halo, Gears, GTA, and Killzone are the games that kids (in particular boys) love the most.

Good comeback.  Youtube > my anecdote.

You still haven't proven your point (and likely will never be able to based on the scope of it), but you did make a great comeback.  Congrats.
