I know only one 10 year old boy (family member).  He has a Wii and a DS.  His younger brother has a DS as well.  Neither are interested in a 360/PS3.  My anecdote > your anecdote.

     Well, maybe some documentary footage will demonstrate that Halo, Gears, GTA, and Killzone are the games that kids (in particular boys) love the most.
