Forums - Gaming - How much have you spent on games this gen?

I was talking with outlawauron about this on Steam, and decided to add up all the consoles, controllers, games, etc. that I bought this gen.  I included older games that I've tracked down through Ebay since the release of the ps2/Wii, but I did not include my gaming PC that I built (nor any PC games, now that I think about it).

The grand total?

~$3050

And for the past half a year I've complained about not being able to afford a ~$900 amp.  >_>

 

How much have you guys bled on games this gen?  Including handhelds.

I have embrassed myself.

I've spent $8368 since the start of the Xbox 360.

I'm pondering crying.

And that doesn't include accessories/guides/online fees.

Including my TV and 5.1 Surround Sound I bought exclusively for gaming about $6,500.



Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Nope. Only consoles and games.  And I suppose you can include your PC, but they're not strictly for gaming (you'd probably buy one if you were a gamer or not).

It does count. I wouldn't have bought a TV or surround sound if these consoles didn't go HD.

Hmm. 20 PSP games, 15 PS3 games + 2 PSP's + 1 PS3/1 PS3 repair + 2 controllers + 2 headsets = ??? I didn't buy 100% of those, probably 5% - 10% were gifts/shared. I guess I spent around $2000? I'm on the low end it appears =)
