Can anyone tell me an easy way to unlock Gouken please? I can't seem to do it.

Make sure you've unlocked the other normal unlockable characters.

Make sure you have beaten the game with Akuma already.

Set difficulty to easy.

Set rounds to 1

get at least 1 perfect

get 3 ultra finishes

Do not use any continues.

That should work for you.

You've got to unlock Akuma first. Then beat the game with Akuma, then beat the game while getting at least 1 perfect (1 round matches), 3 Ultra finishes and no continues. You can do all that the same playthrough with Akuma if you want, if you know well enough to do his Ultra Finishes that is.

nah, can't do his ultras, the button input looks confusing. I've got Akuma and beaten the game with him but I'm strongest with Rose so I'll use her. Thanks for the tips, I'll try it in the morning.

As well as what's already been posted you need 5 first attacks, difficulty level doesn't matter so set it on easiest and use ryu cause his ultra is easiest to pull off :)

Gouken is the hardest to unlock and he is one of the worse characters in the game in terms of move set.

Gouken is not bad, but it's like a defensive character.
Strange for a shoto.
But like ken it's a mid-tier,a good character.
But not abused like ryu or sagat.

Gouken is awesome once you mastered his counters.

Agreed. I just don't like him. However, I do use him. I have a .500 online record. I have not lost one match playing as Gouken.
