Final Fantasy X had a incredible storyline that was well thought out and was so freaking epic. The battle system to me is the best in the FF series. Plus it had great graphics and music. Truly this was an rpg masterpiece.

The hardest question of them all.
And 10 is a winner in my book - if only by the skin of its teeth.
So many X lovers in this thread. However, while I do love X, I have to choose the best FF of the entire series and go with VI.
What's next g-value, V vs IX?

MOre like 1,000,000 country miles.

No FF will ever top VI. Console remake please Square. I would pay a whatever you want to charge.
I didn't like the story or characters in FFX and I hated Blitzball so I vote for FFVI.
VI by a long shot.
And I think a country mile is supposed to be bigger because without buildings to look at, walking a mile can be quite tedious.

Qual é, Dadinho...?
Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!
FF6 for 1994
FFX for 2001
If FFX had been released in 1994, people would've gone crazy about it. If FF6 had been released in 2001 it would've been ridiculously underrated.
Please leave each game to its own place and time.
Auron automatically made FFX a Winner

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
