It's north of Mexico and south of Canada. The Atantic Ocean is on it's east coast and the Pacific Ocean is on it's west coast.

Anyone that has taken a basic geography class would know this.

Anywho... glad to have been of some help.

Those are poor directions Alaska or Hawaii.

ANd your the third person to do that, so not much help at all ;)

Apparently, neither do the people in the rest of the US.

If you put quotes from Gerald Ford in your sig, than this conversation would get pretty ugly if it were to continue.  Believe what you believe.  We'll leave it at that, and I'll avoid an argument.  Later.

TheRealMafoo asked:

"So back to the point of this thread. Should it be ok for Washington to target small groups of people, and take money they have earned just because government feels they don't "deserve" it?"

To answer your question, imo, if such money is an extraordinary amount that is going to go to aid a very small number of people much to the detriment of the majority of the people in our society, then I believe they should.

You also believe the Illuminati caused the economic crisis.

Yeah, and you believe that being able to take what they donate in charity off of their taxes has nothing to do with the amount of money that the wealthy conservatives donate to charity.

No.  Actually I do think it matters.  Because if you can't take the money off you that means you have less of a net at the end of the year.

What i don't believe is that people give money becuse of the tax breaks.  Which is logical.  What do i gain by giving 1,000 dollars to say 350 dollars in taxes?

In general people doante what they are comfortable with... or some people... what they are sligtly uncomfortable with.

This is a reasonable position.  the Illuiminati... not so much.

As William Cooper would say, whenever you have people in a scoiety that have fundamentally more than other people in that society you have a power elite which has a vested interest in protecting its own interests which is why you largely hear the people over $250,000.00 in this society saying, "Oh, Obama is going to raise taxes on us to help out those peons we call our workers (slaves) boo hoo hoo.  Trying to elevate the poor people in our society so that they can drive cars just as good as our CTS or go on European vacations instead of working hard all day at backbreaking labor forcing them to do we want them to is Communistic and Socialistic."

That power elite can be called an Illuminati even if it has nothing to do with Adam Weishaupt's Illuminati.

Democrats make on average make more money then Republicans.

The "us vs them" rich vs poor arguement of Republicans vs Democrats is nothing but an excuse for people to feel put opon and blame others rather then take stock of their own lives.

Bill Gates for example... is a democrat, so is Warren Buffet, just about everyone in Holywood... rich people in general are democrats.

The class war is just stupid, and often fabricated. As Kasz has pointed out, many of the richest people out there are Democrats. The top income makers in this society voted for Obama even when he told them he was going to raise their taxes.

They understand that there is much more to a country than simply how much you pay in taxes.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

How can a society function when its based on money? Capitalism is the dumbest political system we have ever come up with. Its greed. Our very lives are based on a society that prays at the alter of the dollar. God means nothing, love means nothing, family, freinds its all worthless. Society as a whole only cares about money, the poor need it, the middle class needs it, the rich need it. Its sickening, Iv been toying with the idea of what would happen if their was a major shift in society, imagine a democraticly elected world monarchy, no countries, the basic laws apply to everybody and each region is run individually to the needs of the population. This is what humanity should strive for. Not trying to accumulate as much wealth as possible. Call me a communist if you want, I would enjoy it, because I dont want to be a slave to a society who hangs dollar bills on crusifixes and has funerals for milti-billion dollar international coropartions.

I completly disagree with your assesment of society...

For example America is one of the most capitalist soceities in the world but also the most chartiable.

American giving is the highest even when sent against GDP.

Capitalism is simply a system that states "People will pay more for what is valuable to them."

I'm sorry Mafoo, i understand your points, but I'm pretty tired of your rhetoric. The only reason why you'd say something so strong or in such a belittling way is because you want to bait people into arguing with you.

Kasz216 seems to be a conservative as well, but minus all the angry rhetoric so I'm more likely to read and accept what he says.
