Yes but I am just demonstrating how many countries are not included in some "Europe" statements.... all the small numbers add up, as well as some markets being a lot more important than Tremble seems to think. especially when combined.

8 million figure is over 3 months old, Xbox passed 8 million before 2009.

This get with the picture people and quit spreading BS. The numbers are nearly an entire quarter old. They hit over 8 million in Europe at the end of 08. They have not provided new numbers since.

Tremble - How could MS know Sony numbers? Um. The same way Sony knows MS numbers: They buy them from hardware tracking firms like GfK.

And it's already been said: MS announced 8m sold last year. We also have the yearly EoY 2008 totals for most western European countries, and they added up to 8m back then. I would suggest, Tremble, that you look into the information, and cross-reference 3rd party data before making claims that are more full of holes than swiss cheese.

The problem is that depending who's talking, Europe might mean:

Eurozone
European Community
European Continent

It's just a big mess.
