I really doubt that, Russian market is very new to games consoles and even if sales are booming figures shouldn't be that impressive, Korea hasn't that many console installed. As for septembre 2008 :Xbox 360 around 150K, PS3 around 50K, Wii 40K (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/poor-asian-console-sales-shouldn-t-be-blamed-on-piracy-nexon) for Australia we have pretty decent figures and the discrepancy between 360 and PS3 is only of 200K, in South africa PS3 and 360 are pretty much even, as for India, Brazil and China, it's very difficult to quantify the number of consoles installed.

The known figures give a lead of around 400K (rough estimation) for the 360... I doubt emerging and pirating countries could account for 2,6 million consoles more.

360 stands a chance at being overtracked but it could also mean Microsoft have a different "Europe" .... there are already differences in what Microsoft and Sony include for Europe. Why not VGChartz too?

Not to mention VGChartz is spot on with WW figures so if its a milion over tracked in europe its a million undertracked somewhere else ...

It's not a question of being a fanboy or not. MS gave us official numbers, and it looks like Vgchartz figure are wrong. that's all.

If this site wants to get a "serious" image, they really need to work harder and stop the "100k 360's sold in others per week".
