I only look the trend of Vgc , not the absolute numbers. And Vgc is great for that.
The only problem i see is the correction to apply each month or year to the trend in order to be as most reliable as possible.
And it's time to correct the wii, 360 and ps3 numbers it's seems

There is only one version of Europe. it is as defined as the US. Well in my mind.
assumption is the mother of all f**k ups
ok other is not just europe, but someone can really think that 3 million xbox have been sell in africa, south america and east asia ( without japan ) ?
If yes i'm very interesting to have the number of Thailand, Nigeria, Bolivia for exemple...
But MS also stated they are 1 million ahead of the PS3 and they were just talking about France, Italy, UK, Germany and Spain. Currently VGC has those countries combined at 7.2 million. So if this is the case, VGC is undertracking the Xbox360 a little bit. Something like 300-400k. (shipped / retail differences - 400k on stock is possible)
But if MS was talking about whole Europe, VGC is overtracking the Xbox360 pretty big, about 1 million. But MS stated they are 1 million ahead of the PS3 and all the data we have did not show a catch-up for the PS3 at all, actually MS might have increased the gap. According to VGC the gap is only like 500k in Europe.
So if the Xbox360 is seriously overtracked, so is the PS3, both about 1 million. That would be the biggest adjustment ever on VGC, right? 2 consoles down by 1 million each... wow.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

No, but russia, brazil, Korea, Australia, india, south africa combined is possible.

You got to think outside of Europe, it maybe slightly over tracked but to be honest there are many more countries outside of the EU ;)
Good to see this site is still going
Others doesn't = europe
Vgchartz Europe doesn't necessarily = MS version of Europe.
Things are probably a little bit over tracked but that would most likely mean the other consoles are aswell.
Its not a huge issue as vgchartz adjusts most things eventually.
No over tracked
8 milion xbox 360

Sony uses "internal" figures and MSFT uses an independent tracking source gfk Now which one should I trust the most to provide "sold" and not "shipped" figures?
Currently playing on PS3: God of War III
