Well if you want mature games than why get a console that is considered family friendly? Doesn't Nintendo keep developers from putting sex, drugs, and alcohol in games? I don't go to YouTube for hardcore porn and I don't go to the Wii for mature games.

Sorry if you consider what I'm doing as trolling. If anything I'm disappointed that devlopers don't put more effort into Wii games.

Nope, they once did, they no longer do. Thats what ratings are for. A game with drugs and whatnot wont get an E for everyone rating. All consoles are family friendly, just purchase E rated games.

You realize that we don't live in the 90's anymore, right?

Are you positive Nintendo now allows sex, drugs, and alcohol in games? Because I know there was censorship on the Gamecube. I've also yet to see those things in Wii games. The Wii has far more E games and they are the best selling games on that console.

Have you seen Madworld, No More Heroes or House of the Dead: Overkill???

Overkill just set the record for most F-bombs in a game!

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Finally Wii games are starting to look better than xbox games.

Thats because its on rail shooter. Less interaction & other stuff -> more space for graphics. Just compare Oblivion and any linear shooter game on same platform. Well, you could also make on rail shooter with prerendered graphics too. That would mean graphics that are way better than both HD consoles could make. ;)

How about Manhunt 2, No More Heroes, Scarface, The Godfather, House of the Dead Overkill, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, MadWorld, Call of Duty: World at War...?

Those are all mature rated games on the Wii. Hell, even the PS3 has more E rated games than M rated games.

Do I really have to explain to you more clearly?

The MOST popular games on the Wii have an E rating.

The MOST popular games on the PS3 and 360 are Mature rated.

So they can have cursing and violence?

But can a character snort a line, get drunk, and make sweet love to a prostitute?

The only time I've seen alcohol in Nintnedo game was Conker and Nintendo censored several N64 games.

i warned you man, stop.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
