No the PS3 has already outsold the Dremacast and Jaguar combined.

The PS3 is not the biggest failure. Many many were far worse. but it was perhaps the most epic herculean fall in just one generation ever. Sony sold 250 million consoles back to back over the course of 12 years ,were hugely profitable, and now commands less than 20% marketshare. all This in just one generations time. Nintendo slid gradually from Nes to Gamecube but still stayed hugely profitable. a metaphore would be that Nintendo rolled down a gentle rolling hills and Sony bungie jumped off the Empire state building with a cord that was slightly too long.

Sorry, I don't agree with that view point. Unlike the Jaguar, the ps3 is not leading anyone to believe it is something that it is not. After looking at those old Jaguar games I can see that it was not as visually appealing to the eyes as its counterparts. Lets understand that the ps3 is an outstanding system. No matter what current gen system you prefer, none of them are as impressive as the ps3. Although the ps3 is an expensive system, the ps3 delivers the goods. More or less, Sony is to blame for the ups and downs of the ps3. I guess S

well the problem is that sony said it would be twice more powerful then the 360 but games look almost the same in both.
