MORTAL KOMBAT!! Damn, if I didn't get my ass handed to me in the arcades. Before that, I thought I was the best gamer in the world. My Kharacter would get beaten up, then my opponent would rip out my spine! It was so sad, back then.

I think I only died 60 times to clear hard mode and can probably clear normal without dying now...

Others game came afterward so never got the time to try very hard and master ninja...

Abadox and Battletoads.... but I blame the insane difficulty of the games rather than my skills. :P

I think Halo fits this thread discussion perfectly for me. I started my first file on Hard a few days ago, assuming that it wouldn't be too hard since I consider myself pretty good at FPS games. After about an hour, I had to restart my file and play on Normal, and I STILL had a ****ing hard time during the last two stages of the game. I don't know what the hell is going on. I blame the flood for being the most obnoxious, annoying little devils I've ever had the displeasure of fighting.

Sometimes it's best to just run.
