No, no, no, Carmina. It sold 320k on the PS3 in Japan. The 360 version sold about 80k. Can you tell me what number it makes when you put those together? Yes, 400k! Good girl!

I think everyone knew that this game was going to sell roughly 2x more in the US region but claw some of that back in the Japan and Others regions to sell roughly at 50/50 (as stated in the article)

X360 will get bigger hardware boost from RE5 release in NA and Europe than the PS3.
Within a week or two the X360 version of RE5 should be in front of PS3 version of RE5
Currently 1.6 million RE5 copies have been sold 55% to 45% in favour of PS3. In Japan the PS3 version of Re5 outsold X360 version of RE5 by 5 to 1 or over 250 000 more copies. Shame games in Japan are very top heavy in first week and crash and burn in second week and virtually sell nothing in the following weeks of any given game title on most game platforms.
Europe and NA are turning the tide in favour of RE5 on X360 outselling PS3 version of RE5 by around 3 to 2 in favour of X360 over PS3.

Current sales of RE5 worldwide (1.6 million units sold through)
RE5(PS3) = 880k RE5(X360) = 720k
