I dunno....As much as I love the Wii, hardcore games tend to get shafted...but then again...it's Zelda...I'm going to stick with the 1.5 million in the 1st week, any less, I would have to lose all hope in the Wii. x.o |
Are you telling some kin of joke? Look at the first week sales for Twilight Princess, and then at how it's clawing its way towards seven million copies sold on both platforms combined.

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware 1.5 million wasn't a good first week. I guess I should raise it to 4 million. oh wait. I forgot, Nintendo never ships out enough for the first week of sales. Also, the "less than 1.5 million" comment was in reference to the fact that I'd lose hope in Nintendo if a game like Legend of Zelda didn't reach 1.5 million its first week (if they shipped enough copies). O.o I don't see how my statement was negative towards Zelda...

It's not - it's just setting its hopes too high!
Twilight Princess' first week was like... what, 1.1 million? Something like that. On both platforms!
If it did 1.5 million on its first week I would expect it to conquer the world.

Well..keep in mind that that there were less than 22 million people that owned both the Wii and the gamecube. The Wii now has sold literally twice that much since launch (47 million). That's why I'm putting the expectation up that high. Also, It's Zelda. :p

Well, yeah, I understand, but Twilight Princess is also the second best selling game in the franchise. I think it's a very good bar for it.
We may never see another Ocarina of Time in terms of sales for this series. It can't be helped.
