*THE MAIN POINT of THIS THREAD - is to SEE how far/close will Wii be in 2009 compared to Wii with consoles sold in 2008.

 

Everyone's doing one, so I joined. Looks like Wii will have a bigger year than 2008, despite having dropped badly in Japan, because it is up a lot in the rest of the World.

Wii is up 1,232,183 units or 40.5% up  from last year =)))))))

Expect the Wii to exceed even further this year, with all the japanese exclusives and what not. Also, there is that Wii Motion Plus thing, and a lot of 3rd party offerings towards the end of the year.

It really seems to be America that's carrying that boost. Europe seems to be stable while Japan is on the decline, but sales should strengthen across the board as Nintendo and 3rd parties bring the goods.
