Have you played FFX???

 Yes i have and its one of my favorite rpgs of all time.

why people hate FF12 so much???. is aN AMAZING RPG. for me it have one of the best stories of all the FFs i have played, is not boring, it have the most realistic and mature story and they kept the fantasy in it too wich is what final fantasy is all about. the battle system was different but i like it a lot the only thing i didnt like is the way you use the summons, i mean i barely use them at all but thats it, the magic is incredible and it have a lot of magics and the awekenings were FULL OF EPICNESS. the voice acting is THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD. the CGI is the best of all FFs i have played. the characters were great too, i like the fact that the game doesnt have like a main important character, everyone was important in the story, is not like some RPGs like FF7 that put you characters that are not important to the story AT ALL. oh and lets not forget that the game is reallyyyyyy long wich is for me one of my main important requirements for an RPG. oh and the art design is INCREDIBLE, cities were amazing and the dungeons were a little bit long but awesome and the game is hard as hell wich is another of my main important requirements. is an incredible RPG and reviews back me up on this, is a shame that people dont enjoy this game, is really great. it stands out on his genre. i only like FF7 more because the story is emotinaly touching and the battle system is a little bit better. please dont kill me guys i dont wanna flame up the war i am just trying to say why i like the game. sorry if a hurt the FF7 fans jajajaja.

I guess if I had to pick one I would go with the lesser of two evils and say FFVII since FFXII is a giant flaming pile of poo.  And yes, I'm stating as a fact FFXII is a bad game.

FFVI trumps them both.

If I had to choose one of the two though, it would be FFVII. FFXII plays itself, in my opinion the game was a borefest. Story was boring, characters were boring, everything was just... boring.

Sadly I have to agree. FFXII was a game that divided the FF fanbase so much.

It was one hell of a love it/hate it game.

People should just put their opinion of it in their sigs, that way we won't need to bring it up anymore.
