Im a big fan of the other silent hills and enjoyed them all , is this one worth getting?

Frankly no, If you liked the old ones this one will seem totally bizarre. It attempts to be RE4, but fails in every way. The bugs and general disappointment in this game is huge. It's not terrible, but I would never pay more than $20 for it.

i personally loved the sound and graphics, and general atmosphere.

however the new fighting mechanics are so frustrating its nuts.

the new fighting has some dodge mechanics and things like that

it seems neat when you read the instruction book, but in practice leaves tons to be desired.

itd be neat if you could try a demo of it, cus youd know right away if you hate it or not, but i think thats why there is no demo.
