I would argue there isn't really any difference in the two.
You are right, but xenophobes are more socially acceptable than racists. Its kind of like intelligent design vs. creationism.

I was always taught to treat the two words as synonyms (well, I wasn't taught that per se... I just noticed that people used the terms interchangeably).
Immigration to Europe should be stopped completely. At least for a decade.
There's too many problems on so many levels. Let things calm down and take measures to assimilate the masses of immigrants who are already here before letting new hordes in.
I am honestly glad that America is getting more Mexicans rather than more of a culture like Muslims. This country is already religious enough!

You don't think Mexicans are religious? I spent the first 35 years of my life in Texas and New Mexico. Never met a Mexican who was not religious.
