I used to post at the forum of a national videogames magazine called Atomix, but the forum had some crashed and lots of changes. The forums are kinda crappy. They allow insulting, flamming, everything... except they don't allow posting images on your posts or sigs. Also, it's forum is filled with jerks, nerds, fanboys... specially Sony fanboys, anti-Nintendo guys, as the magazine has always been anti-Nintendo. I actually was of its first members (no. 25), but I abandoned the site.

I also runned a general forum for some time, it was mainly anime-based, pretty well known, but got bored. I also posted at a site called Overclockers Mexico, but the site died when the guy running it decided to do it more based on the store he runs.

Right now I'm also posting on Club Nintendo's forum. Thats the official Nintendo magazine here. Also a frequent at Cosplay.com.

The first forum I ever got into was the roleplaying forum at neopets.com roughly five years ago. For those of you who've been there, you know it's like a world within a world. I stayed there until '04 and then created my own small roleplaying forum. At the same time, I joined the Nsider forums over at Nintendo. I've been posting off and on there ever since then (I've only accumulated 8xx posts) while the RPing forum died about two years ago. In '06 I downloaded a game called MapleStory. (Heard of it? It frequently has ads on IGN.) A few months after starting, I joined a site called BasilMarket, a surprisingly big auction site that doubles as the biggest forum for the game (it's in the top 2-3k sites in the world). I still post there frequently and played off and on until July. I also joined a few sister sites of that site like MMOTales, a pseudo-blog site for MMORPG players that was as much a blog site as it was a forum. Then, in June, I joined the forum of the only anime site I consistently visit, AniTube.blogspot.com, where I continue to post daily. Finally, I joined VGChartz about a month ago.

Wow...there must be forums for just about everything. Some of you guys come from some pretty strange places. That's a good thing of course.
