Forums - General - THE F-ING UK LEGAL SYSTEM!!!!!!!

I suppose most of you who are my friends on facebook have seen my status updates about this.

Basically a few weeks ago the prick up my road called Ryan hodge broke into my house. He stole some of my moms jewellry, two PDAs and my savings. The police were very good in following it up, they did a good job. Basically they broke into a recievers house and found our PDAs, the reciever said that Ryan was his supplier so they arrested Ryan. They shown him they found the PDAs and he admitted he stole them. Then they questioed him about my savings and the jewellery. He knew they didn't have evidence as he sold them and spent it the day he got them. They tested him for drugs, he was positive for cocaine and LSD.

.... THE FUCKING AUDACITY...

So they just went missing the same day then did they? Anyway, they are only prosecuting him for the theft of the PDAs and said that he may get drug rehabilitation onlyu... WTF!!!! It was blatently him that stole them and they wont prosecute him. And what they said he would get as a punishment? WHAT... THE... HELL!!!!!!! just put the bastard in jail. In any case I am considering sueing him, because now I check my stuff constantly to make sure it's still there and it has become a pain now, it's like he gave OCD...

I am so pissed off right now

Maybe you can hope he was actually addicted to the cocaine and goes through horrible withdrawals...

Anyways, often justice doesn't come from the legal system. Make sure anyone who knows him knows what he did ;)

Meh, halfway there, but I was just told off by his sisters best friend who said he was having a hard time. All my mates know and everyone on my street knows pretty much. He robed three people on my street so I imagine they will tell everyone.

To be honest I am most sickened that his parents haven't appologised after they attacked my parents when they called the police. We've seen them once since he was arrested and they shouted abuse at them saying they should have left it because he was having a hard time... OF COURSE HE WAS, HE WAS ON DRUGS AND ROBBING HOUSES.

go find some STD infested prostitute and pay her/him to pick up and sleep with this ryan person

Three things I hate about the legal system.

_ punishments are only a slap on the hand (what do you get nowadays? 15 years for murder? meh)
_ early release (i'm sorry I killed and raped that kid, can I get out of jail now?)
_ teenage imunity (opps he's under 18, sorry he broke into your house and stole everything, but there really isn't anything we can do besides calling his parents to pick him up.

and i'm not talking about the UK, i'm in france.

the thing that pisses me off the most though is that the people in jail can have TVs and gear and stuff.... I mean for some of them, jail is probably better than their homes...

I see you've played knifey-spoony before.

As much as this screws you, this is how the system has to work ...

If it worked the way that we might like it to work it would be far to easy for people to abuse the system to railroad people.
