2K has shot down speculation indicating that BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams may be exclusive to Xbox 360, affirming that the horror sequel is definitely headed to the PlayStation 3.

Rumors have been popping up recently suggesting that Microsoft had been attempting to secure the game as a timed exclusive. In addition, 2K’s release schedule put the game’s platforms down at TBA, sparking yet further panic.

Despite this, company representatives have told CVG that BioShock 2 is definitely coming to PS3, although there’s no word yet whether or not the game will be a timed exclusive.

Good news for PS3 owners. All of you should play the original. I seriously doubt the sequel will be as good.

when they say this MS has to be crazy to pay for timed exclusivity.MS might secure exclusive DLC?

Hopefully it will be released simultaneously. If it is a timed exclusive I can't see it selling all that well, and it would likely damage sales of any future bioshock game on the ps3.

I want this game out by August/September, sorry but there were too many games jammed into November last year...at least spread the major AAA games out this year...I can only hope though.

I have the original.. bought from england for about a third of the normal price here :P that way i got it for the same price as the pc version so i don't complain.

Apparently it will have no Big Daddies and a 2 player co-op mode. I doubt it'll be as good as the original.

This was obvious. I mean, Microsoft might be making a play for some lame timed exclusivity deal, but 2K debuted the teaser trailer on the PS3 version for a reason.

I had to go through 3 copies of the original. I hope that doesn't happen again.

Exactly how I feel. The first one was wonderful, the atmosphere, the story and the gameplay were blended together beautifully, but I doubt the sequel will be as good but I am going to buy it either way
