NMH wasnt advertised at all. Was it?

As far as i remember no. I mean, the game wasn't even in stock at the Ubisoft site for the first few days, the sales are certainly overwhelming.

We really need to make a flowchart for this. Or a regression equation. Yeah, that's what we need...a Wii sales predictor!

Sales (000's)= Wii_in_title*1 + Mario_in_title*3+Nintendo_publisher*2+NoWii_in_title*0.5 + Non_nintendo_publihser*.25 + hype_rating*0.1

Therefore Madworld = 0 + 0 +0 +50k +25k +110k = 185k first week.

Simple!

Trying to convince me the Wii is a real adult game machine 'if you play it right' is like trying to convince me Tofu tastes great 'if you just cook it right'

NMH wasn't advertised at all. Madworld pretty much was, but at least NMH had color.
The niche these games forced themselves into don't help sales much.

I think 65k first week WW will be good for Madworld. However, I doubt VGChartz will show that, because by the 14th (next weeks update) Madworld will only have 2 days worth of sales.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

1 million? That's too high.
300-500k is possible.

@Johann

I think Madworld will sell a little bit above NMH because it had some advertising.
I'll go with 425k lifetime. I hope to be surprised someday if it exceeds that number.

That is not an American commercial. The gamer.tv thing is something I have never heard of in America. Maybe in a specific PAL region, but nowhere here.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Doesn't change the fact that they had an advertising budget, did it?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Mrstickball is talking BS again, like usual.

No More Heroes is a commercial succes. We've been through this a million times, Suda even threw a party to celebrate its succes. It's the best selling Suda title ever. It shipped over 500k ages ago, VGC isn't tracking the game anymore for a while.

As for MadWorld, if it really did 50k-70k first week in the US like Mrstickball said, it would be a big succes. Most Wii games that sold that amount went on to go platinum or close.

I'm pretty sure MadWorld will be a succes, though the question is if it will be just that -a succes, or will it really be huge million-selling game. I expect the former.
