Ok so i just got the game at a midnight launch and sometingthing is upsetting me with the ps3 version. I cannot find out how to play with a friend in the game or even think the option is available. All it lets me do is a quick join or if i do custom match it gives me random users names on a list....

Also i have no clue how to invite people to games for the "invite only" or wither the invite only is "hey this guy wants to join....let him?"

If anyone can help me if there is a way this would be nice....

wana play co-op witha friend but have no idea how to do it?

RE5 doesn't have the most convenient of means to invite friends to play.

but it's not impossible either.

Start RE5, create a invite only game session,
In ur XMB (PS Home button) - the PS3 OS.
go to the friend u wanna invite and press triangle.
That pulls out more details.
first option: Invite this Player.


Now for the person who got invited, u can't find a invite link or link etc.
u receive a message which has the game session burnt into the message's backend (no one can see it).
Open XMB, select eitehr urself or any other friend in the friends list.
Triangle and hit Accept Invitation.

Then, it'll search ur received messages for invites.
Select the invite u wanna join and join it.

Voila! CO-OP play!

hey man thanks so much. Unfortunately the guy who i wanted to play with and went to bed for the night, so I will have to try this later.

Also is there voice chat or is no one just talking or listening to a damn thing i say...

Edit: Nevermind googled it. There is voice chat, however barely anyone is using mics......grrr some idiot wasn't listening to me when I tried getting him to an area I knew about from the demo.
