 I would love to see a MvC2 HD Remix with its huge selection of fighters and helpers.

IMO X-men vs SF was the best cross-over (wasnt too flashy and crazy) and I would hope they would made a HD remix of that as well.   What do you all think and what would you like to see Capcom do an HD remix of?

Aren't there licensing issues which never got resolved? Last gen, licensing issues prevented the Xbox version of MvC2 from supporting online. (Basically, Capcom no longer had the Marvel license. Although they could port the game to additional platforms, any changes to the game would violate the licensing agreement.)

Even without the licensing issues, 2D games with huge casts seem like a financially poor choice for HD Remixes. A large part of what made the original versions of those games financially viable was the ability to re-use old sprites. If they had to redraw all those sprites from scratch, the costs would be enormous.

All that said, I'd love to see it happen.

You know what would be better! An actual sequel!!! =/

MvC 2 was ok. Love the selection of characters but I never liked it too much. MvC was better imo. I want MvC 3 dammit!

Anyways SSFIIHD wasnt that great visually. Its just update fucking sprites which pisses me off that it didnt come to Wiiware. HD my ass.

It came to the Virtual Console. It's called Super Street Fighter II and it costs $8.

I would rather Capcom not bother HD Remixing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and just straight port it with online multiplayer support. It's not really that ugly of a game to begin with.

i had this game and street fighter 2 :( they still work but i dont have credit card to but the PSN versions.

I'd love that.

I'm currently trying to get this on ebay for a good price. Taken me ages. If they did that in HD remake, I'd buy it in an instant and add more characters (mainly Marvel ones) would be awesome.

 It was an awesome game, all the trash talking and digs between the two companies was amazing aswell, thanks to snk we got dan in street fighter :)



nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)
