You get points for spelling "Bryyo" right (it's starting to really get on my nerves that people constantly keep saying "Byro"... it's like, seriously, "Bryyo" isn't that hard to read/write correctly, now).

However, seriously. None of what you're asking about is that hard to figure out. Just remember your scan visor is your friend! As you get further into the game, the scan visor starts becoming necessary for progressing. You're going to need to get into the habit of scanning everything you can. I don't go through a single new room without scanning everything new that I can. Heck, on Elysia and the Valhalla, I've been going through rooms and scanning each and every dead body, even though they all say essentially the same thing - DEAD, NOT COMING BACK TO LIFE, KILLED IN MYSTERIOUS WAY THAT INVOLVES PHAZON.

When you beat the game everything you scanned stays in ur log so dont worry to much about scanning the second time around hypermode definatly feels the right difficulty

There are only 2 FAQs for the game, and they're very incomplete. Anyone who's played more than 5 hours is past the end of all the available walkthroughs. This is a good thing! People should figure the game out for themselves!

I'll echo the congrats on spelling "Bryyo" correctly, which people have botched 15 different ways (come on, it's OBVIOUSLY not "Bryoo" or "Brryo").  Now, if only you could spell "Metroid"...

MP3 is a much better game without a walkthrough. What's the point of using a walkthrough on a game filled with puzzles... most of the purpose of the game is to solve the puzzles yourself lol.

I admit to using a FAQ several times during Echoes, mostly because some of the bosses in that game were LAME, and I'd expend 1/2 of my energy tanks just figuring out how to hurt them.  Corruption does not have this problem, every boss fight thus far (I'm about 3/4 finished) has been AWESOME.

Agreed.  I'm also about 3/4 of the way finished, and the bosses are challenging but not stupid.

Second time around on hypermode definatly feels more epic. for one you dont get lost easy, and can appreciate the artwork more

Now THAT'S a walkthrough!! I just linked it so that the OP can see where he's stuck. I'm not reading it. Metroid launches here in October so I don't want to spoil anything!

It is a hardcore game through and through. You will get your ass kicked by bosses. You will be stumped by the sometimes complex, but never overbearing, exploration.
