If you aren't borned rich, you're ******.
You just end up with a huge debt by the time you finish school like the rest of us :)

That's not true! If you're poor enough, you get a free ride through all your schooling. =D

Depends what kind of schooling you want to do really...

Georgia Tech is a great public school for example.. there are 3 prices from what I recall (georgia resident, US citizen, Foreigner -> almost free, half price, full price)

Uni is free in the US too if you're intelligent.

Uni is "free" in the US if you have perfect grades. That has little to do with intellence.

Apply for grants/scholarships early. I made almost 7000$ over in financial aid this year because my state/school scholarships paid for practically everything. But don't be picky about private vs. public, there is little difference, especially after you get your diploma. The only major difference is private is about 10x as much, and believe me the education is not 10x the one you will get at a public university.

Yes and public schools are 10x more liberal than private.

Go to a public university. Its as simple as that. Otherwise you will be paying off debt for the majority of your life. Unless you are trying to go to an Ivy league or something, public schools are as good as and often better than private schools.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

And..? I'm pretty conservative, more moderate than anything, and am going to Florida State University, a public university, and have no problems. Believe me, the worst is behind you, the election was pretty hectic for both sides on my campus, and probably any other campus.

Or if you mean you don't want to be put in with the masses, get over it. Live in the real world and be a better person for it.

I suspect they might be somewhat related none-the-less.

Ivy league schools offer poor education. At least Harvard does. Not sure about the rest.
