The sad thing is that my parents think like this. I suggested an AMD processor and graphics card, and they were like, "No, you must have Intel everything". They think AMD are cheap knockoffs that fail constantly, and that Intel is AWESOME. They bought two Pentium 4 computers when Athlon 64 was clearly cheaper, cooler and faster. They were looking for "Pentium 5" when it came to buy a computer a few years later, because they had "heard it was good". They think Intel integrated graphics are the most awesome gaming thing ever.

I haven't told them I bought an AMD proc, motherboard and GPU in my computer...
