Agreed. That game kicked ass so much. I loved it. My fav. GTA.

will first of all to each their own every body can have an opinion. no need to stomp on how the other guy's feels

having said that GTA SA is one of the best games out there, not my personal best but it's high up there

it's without a doubt the best GTA ever followed closely(and I mean really really closely) by GTA VC

GTAIV was pure sh*t if you considered all the 10s and high marks it got. after building a huge amount of hype with in yourself then finding out it was all BS you get really pissed.

but if you look at it as just a game. it's really good not Great or epic but really good. I would give it an 8 or 8.5 but I never got to finish it because the missons were so boring

yeah i could see how it could be your favorite game. it definitely deserves a place at towards the top for best games ever. i never played it, but i recognize that it was incredible.

Closely followed by GTAs 3 and 2.

San Andreas was ok.

I have also spent about 30 minutes on the original, but it was a long time ago.... the rest I haven't played.

i don't mean for me, i just mean overall.  a lot of people enjoyed it so i think it is probably an all-time classic.  a game that i don't like or don't play can still be a good game.

I disagree. It's not even in my top 20. And the reason I thought GTA4 was no where near a great game is because it felt so limited compared to SA.
