3.14159, there's really no need for me to know any more than that since I have a computer for everything else and I'm never going to do anything that requires more precision that that.

ALTHOUGH the reason I even know it that far is because of this basketball cheer:

3.142 is what i learnt at school, did some maths on my it a-level, but nothing other than that, makes my head ache

Also, if you wanted to estimate the size of the universe, you would only need pi to 20 digits and it would be accurate within a subatomic level. But it isn't for math, its for pure memory purposes. 

 

 

I can only remember like 10 places.

Well, Pi day has finished. Memorized and recdited 321 digits (500 was far too much to memorize in a night) perfectly. Runner up had 98.

I thought I would vomit. I was so nervous. My legs were quaking and my voice nearly cracked. It doesn't help being watched by 23 classmates, and being filmed with a microphone in your hand.

I memorized 158 of them. We only had to write them on the board though.
