nope....pc players can't get achievement...and it's not linked to Live...if anything it's linked to Steam.......

That is one of the funniest things I have heard on here for a while! Halo 3 and Gears 2 better online?!?!?! don't make me laugh, I have Halo 3, Gears 1, Gears 2, COD 4 and COD: WAW and none of them come close to COD4 and COD: WAW online,

I find Halo 3 very boring and very slow online (takes ages to get places on the maps, poor graphics, everything feels slow and not half as fluid as cod 4), Gears 2 is too buggy and not enough players online (8 players, why couldn't they add more when most other games feature 18 players), COD 4 set the standards for online FPS which 95% of FPS are now following,

 

Halo 3 maybe one of the best overall games on the 360 in terms of features but certainly not online play, gears 2 doesn't even come close online either.....

If cod 4 has had 11 million unique players then I don't even want to know what number halo 3 is at since its played more on live.

As Ive already stated. Regular play charts on Live put Halo 3 top and Gears 2 2nd. COD 4 is not the most played Live shooter. These figures of 11 million will be people who have played 1 match as well. Regular players Halo 3 and Gears 2 owns COD4 online. See my point?
