but halo wars wont have great legs but killzone 2 will
and btw is someone suprised by this?
double the install base + halo brand = great sales
also 360 games are usually very frontloaded

ROFLMAO...this is going to deflate alot of the chatter about this being the year of...
But Halo Wars did it because gamers were duped into thinking that it was a first person shooter, vice a RTS...lol...or at least that's some of the moronic articles I've seen posted. Nevermind that Halo Wars is the BEST RTS on a console to-date, and as compared to PC RTS, it's pretty darn respectable.

Like Halo 3 and GTA 4...

Halo Wars did well, while KZ2 just crossed 1 mill WW, I congratulate that too. People shouldn't be upset about either of these, look at it this way: an RTS on a console sells these #s first week - a first = AWESOME. PS3 exclusive FPS from a company with a not-so-great rep sells 1 million in 2 weeks. Both of these games did wonders and both are considered great!! Guess what: that's ALL that matters! Go Halo Wars/360!!1 Go Killzone 2/PS3!!! From these two benchmarks, the industry IS moving forward, that's great for gamers!!! |
Agree with the happiness over RTS selling on consoles. But really CGI, anybody loving an RTS shud only play it on the PC. Even 2007 games like Word In Conflict destroy any console RTS. RTS is all about micro management and being a control freak and you can't compare the 16 buttons of a controller to 100+ buttons and button combinations on a keyboard+mouse

Just compare Mass effect to Uncharteds legs
or dead rising to Ratchet and clanks
or Fable 2s to LBP
