I Have ordered the following parts for a New PC

AMD Athlon 64X2 6000+ Dual Core 3.0Ghz, 2M Cache

2GB DDR2 RAM

512MB Nvidia Geforce 9600GT with DVI/HDMI/TV Out

500GB SATA Hard Disk 16M Cache

22" Wide LCD

Standard Keyboard, Mouse

Digital TV Tuner

DVD Burner

Putting it together on weekend with a freind, (i have never put a pc together)

all this costs me $1150 AU.

What do you think, is this a decent computer??

Give me some programs i can get put on this. as currently i have a 4 year old laptop that is not that great, what programs things can i do with this PC???

You should ask before ordering :)
BTW this would be much better setup if you bought Phenom X3 710 or 720 for it or if it would take you above your budget Phenom 7750.

Also hmm I don't see mainboard in the list ? You have one already ?
