History Channel had a special awhile back about UFOs from the Bible. Mentioned spacecraft feeding the Jews while they fled Egypt and wandered in the desert. There were a few other stories they were trying to relate to UFOs like Lazarus being escorted into the sky by a flaming chariot which would be the ancient description of a UFO since those were the only words they knew how to describe it.
Never answered the OP original question. Yes, Aliens have probably visited or are visiting Earth now. Definitely not from Mars right now but perhaps Mars had an atmosphere in the past.

If you haven't read them, you would probably like Zechariah Sitchin's Earth Chronicles books. They start with one called The Twelfth Planet. Also, I've recently been reading another book by William Bramley called The Gods of Eden it takes a darker look at why early humans might have worshipped these kinds of sky gods. Some of David Icke's books seemed influenced by The Gods of Eden to me.
