what do you want out of it?

For me, I don't really care about the story too much.

Are you sure you are in the right genre?

Those graphics look to be on par with Vesperia's. Wow.

Never would have thought the Wii would get something like this.

I am Washu-bot B, loyal servant of Final-Fan, the greatest scientific genius in the universe!

I think Tales of Ten is going to be open world

The story will be cookie-cutter with a bunch of anime cliches. I don't need it to be any more than that, as long the gameplay and content are good enough like Vesperia. I care more about the characters more than the story. Good gameplay, lots of content and fun characters is what makes a good Tales game to me. If you have that, you can just slap any cookie-cutter story over it and it'll be a good Tales game.

Are you saying that ToV is has a cookie-cut storyline?

@G-value:

In a way, yes. I guess you could say that I'm calling Vesperia's story to be cookie-cutter. Let's be honest, it borrows a lot of classic cliches from anime. There's nothing wrong with that, though. In fact, I liked it.

Why is all of this stuff about Vesperia plastered all over a thead for a game that's going to be better than it? We're going forwards, not backwards.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Good story.

Good character development, unique and interesting locals, enjoyable battle system.

Yeah...pretty generic.

Person 1: Does Valkyria Chronicles have trophies?
Person 2:  No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.
Person 2: Wait! It's amazing! Unique, charming, drop dead gorgeous... Hello?

It borrowed a few anime cliches but when it came to the aer/blastia parts of the storyline I have never seen that in any anime. Even the whole justice part of the storyline was not from an anime. Most anime focus on super power people and stuff.

Eh...I'd say there's a lot of justice and corrupt governments and stuff in anime. And Blastia is just like the normal power source like Mana or something.

No it's not. Blastia is technology. And i have never seen a anime which went as deep into the whole justice and curruption as Vesperia did. I don't want to spoil ToV for you so I don't want to tell you how Tales of Vesperia storyline does not completly cookie-cut from an anime.
