540k is fail for TC? That's great! New Blood didn't do too good but I doubt it hurt them a whole lot. It still sold 180k. But yeah Baroque and the rest did fail.

Okay I can understand the first Wii Trauma Center doing well. Reason being it was the first one available for the Wii to try and it was built on positive word by the DS Trauma Center games, notice the sequel of the Wii Trauma Center: New Blood failed miserably with the 180k units.

I don't even know what was the point of release Baroque. Let alone for both the Wii and the PS2. That was a horrible choice.

Baroque was originally a Saturn game that many Japanese and import gamers considered great when it came out or so I've heard.  However, it seems that the Wii/PS2 remake is severly flawed.

Atlus can't depend of SMT and Persona alone for profit.

@Riachu

My point exactly now if only Microsoft would fund and support a developer like Atlus instead of Mistwalker. *laughs*

Are we sure Persona 4 made profit?

They do have some quality. Be a shame if they went belly-up. Hopefully they'll work through it.

Exactly it did somewhat well on the DS but surely bombed on the Wii. Both Trauma Center's did pretty bad on the Wii.

How so?  Their sales pretty good to me... espeically considering that the games presntation.

@outlawauron

It sold 500k, so I would imagine it did some help with profit with the company. Obviously it didn't if Atlus released this.

It sold over 500K worldwide and it hasn't even been released in Europe yet.  I'd say it has made a decent profit.  Persona 4 is not the type of game that need to sell Halo like numbers to make any form of profit.  Persona 4's development cost was dirt cheap compared to current gen and even some of the more expensive last gen games.

Nintendo, Sony it is time to buy them!
